Read MoreAUSTIN — Project Transitions, a local nonprofit that provides hospice care, housing, and recuperative care to people living with HIV, has named Annette Cooper Executive Director of the organization.
Before joining PT, Cooper spent 14 years as the Director of Operations and Finance at Camp Fire Central Texas. She started at PT in March of this year as Director of Finance, as was soon tapped to serve as Interim Executive Director.
“In the past year, we opened a new housing facility that more than doubles our capacity,” explained Board President Tony West. “We are focused on building our organizational infrastructure — and Annette’s experience is invaluable.
“In a very short time, Annette has shown us that she has the experience, the creativity, and the heart to lead this organization. We have great confidence in her leadership.”
ABOUT PROJECT TRANSITIONS: Founded in 1988, Project Transitions provides supportive housing, hospice care, and recuperative care to People Living With HIV in Central Texas. Our programs serve people who are experiencing homelessness and living in extreme poverty.
Burnet Place, our new 61-unit housing facility, is now open.
